WARSAW/BASEL, March 9 (Reuters) - Poland's zloty currency is significantly undervalued at present and the central bank is ready to conduct FX interventions to protect it, the bank's Governor Slawomir Skrzypek said on Monday.
"I'm not happy with the zloty because the zloty doesn't reflect fundamentals ... FX intervention is an instrument of monetary policy which we are ready to use at our bank," he told reporters on the sidelines of a central bankers' meeting in Basel, Switzerland.
