Starbucks will open its first shop in Poland on Wednesday.
With Poland and the U.S., the chain has stores in 50 countries. It's trying to ramp up foreign expansion while scaling back in the U.S., where same-stores sales have been clobbered.
Like many of Starbucks' foreign locations, the new Warsaw store is part of a joint venture with another company, in this case AmRest Holdings.

damn I love Starbucks :)
so happy they finally made it to Warsaw, anyone knows where is the new Starbuck's going to be in Warsaw?

Just before you get to the old town, But on the same road there is also coffee heaven, and i think 3 other coffee shops, big competition i see.
