Cricket on TV at the Sheraton hotel, Warsaw

Several months ago, I enquired at the Sheraton's "Someplace Else" pub as to whether they would be showing the Ashes cricket series. I was assured that they had Sky Sports and that yes, they would be showing the cricket.

When I rocked up for the opening session of the first day of the first match (in Cardiff), it turned out that their Sky Sports *wasn't* working. Turned out that they'd let their subscription run out, or something. They promised to get a new card and have Sky Sports up and running by the start of the second match, at the latest.

At the time of writing, they still haven't sorted it out.

Those of you who were in Warsaw for the last Ashes series (in Australia) may recall that they showed the games all day, every day, and that - thanks to a bit of judicious advertising - they did a roaring trade in selling meat and drink to cricket lovers.

If anyone would like to express their dissatisfaction, and perhaps nudge them into getting things set up for the start of the next match on Friday, then perhaps you'd like to pen a *POLITE* email to the following parties:

Manager of the "Someplace Else" pub in the Sheraton: joanna.sopata@sheraton.com
General Manager of the Sheraton Hotel: thomas.schoen@starwoodhotels.com
