hi,

will be hard to find a group, but if you want to take private lessons then yes you can find.

I even know some not in krav maga, but in a better system, coz krav maga is a short training system that was created for the military, in military you don't have much time so they train you basic rules and you practice the same sequence a lot of times.

So as for me you should ask yourself a question why do you want to practice martial art's. If you are aggressive and you want to become a K1 champion then go to Muay Thai, kick boxing, mma and so on, but if you do it for your health and at the same time you like contact sport you should go somewhere were you get to know the whole concept of martial art.

The concept of feeling the movements of the enemy, so you can understand why you do certain things this way and not the other. It's even more entertaining, coz not only muscles work but you brain too : -)

there is a martial art that comes from an army, but an old chineese army :)
the concept of the art is to become a good swordsman, the swords where not so long more like big knifes, and you could caryy them in you sleeves. This was really deadly martial art because in that century only swords mettered, now we have guns.

So the art is based on using your enemy movements, force, direction of the force and leading to kill him as soon as possible.
If we talk about the feeling of the force the closest examples of that art are Judo, Aikido, most of Martial atr's that come from China and India.

The closest from popular sport fighting is muay thai, so if you want to be a performing fighter or a street one then you should go to muay thai :-)

coz they use the whole concept too, sorry for so long post, just sharing my experience.

:)

Swords are are cool, I regret that I am not 18 otherwise I would be with those teenagers with swords, dressed like dudes from the Lord of the rings.

They gather on weekends in Warsaw parks and show off with their swords.
